Tips For Your First Visit

FIRST APPOINTMENT:  If you have not brought your completed paperwork please come a few minutes early and complete it in our lovely waiting area.

RIGHT ON TIME: Be on time for your appointment so you can relax and enjoy your treatment.

COMFORTABLE CLOTHING:  Wear loose fitting clothing that can easily be rolled up above your knee and elbows.  Depending on your treatment we may need to expose your abdomen or back. We have gowns you can change into if necessary.

EAT: Eat a light meal within a few hours prior to arriving for your appointment. Receiving treatment on an empty stomach may increase the risk of nausea or dizziness.  Also, avoid overeating immediately before your treatment.

DRINK: Drink Plenty of water before and after your treatment. If possible, rest a little after to let the treatment integrate.

QUESTIONS:  During your evaluation you will be asked many questions, some related specifically to your complaint and others that may seem unrelated. Chinese Medicine looks at the person in a holistic manner to determine the cause of the condition or disease. In this way we treat the source of the problem, not just the symptoms.
